Description
Inappropriate granting of user rights can provide system, administrative, and other high level capabilities. The "Log on as a batch job" right allows accounts to log on using the task scheduler service which should be restricted to Administrators.

Analyze the system using the Security Configuration and Analysis snap-in.
Expand the Security Configuration and Analysis tree view.
Navigate to Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment.

If any accounts or groups other than the following are granted the “Log on as a batch job” right, this is a finding:

Administrators

Configure the policy value for Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment -> "Log on as a batch job" as defined in the Check section.
